How did you hear about roller derby?
My dad has been friends with Donita Man, who invited us to see her skate in a bout which was the first time I had ever even heard of it.
What about roller derby made you think you should start playing it?
I had been jumping through sports and hobbies trying to find something and I thought it was such an amazing looking sport; it was like love at first sight!
How has your experience been so far? How was your first bout?
I think I had been doing practices for 2 or 3 months, and I was nervous for my first bout. I remember that I had felt like throwing up because I was so nervous and excited.
