Colin Johnson - Ypsilanti, Michigan
Colin J. was quite happily living life as a computer nerd who dabbled with photography
until he moved back to Michigan and started hanging out with the Detroit Derby Girls.
After shooting one bout he was completely in love with roller derby and sports photography.

Dale "Black Dahlia" Rio is a robotic workaholic who subscribes to the theory of perpetual
motion. She has her Masters degree in photography and has been working as a freelance
photographer and writer for over ten years. She is also the maniacal driving force behind

Judith R. Peterson, MD - Sioux Falls, Iowa
Judith R. Peterson, MD is a medical doctor specializing in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. She is the team physician for the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz. She has
lectured extensively on injury avoidance and rehabilitation of injured athletes.

Hunter Stompson - Oakland, California
Hunter Stompson is a referee with the Bay Area Derby Girls and was previously with the
Detroit Derby Girls. He recently ran across the country and currently lives in Oakland,
California, where he is preparing for the biggest earthquake ever or the zombie apocalypse,
whichever comes first.

Jules Doyle - Seattle, WA
Jules has been a photographer for twelve years and is mostly in the fine artworld,
specializing in alternative processes and toy cameras. He started photographing the
Rat City Rollergirls and other Pacific Northwest leagues in early 2006. More derby

Jennifer "Kasey Bomber" Barbee - Los Angeles, California
Kasey Bomber prides herself on being a living, breathing Encyclopedia Brittanica of roller derby.
Wanna know all about the actress who starred in "Unholy Rollers"? Ask Kasey. Need to get a hold of
someone on the league in Chicago? Ask Kasey. She's one of the original members of the L.A. Derby
Dolls and serves as their interleagueaision and a league trainer. She currently skates with the
Sirens and was formerly the co-captain of the Trust Fund Terrors. When she's not skating, or
writing about skating, she likes to tackle skate parks and organize Kid's Days, (a noble derby
tradition often involving go-karts, laser tag, three-legged races and/or Tom Selleck Mustache
Parties). Kasey also makes a mean tequila lime shrimp and is known throughout the US for her
kissing counter.

Marta "Polly Purgatory" Popowska - Germany
Polly Purgatory is one of the founders of the Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz, Germany's first
Roller Derby league. Right now, she is finishing her M.A. in English and History. Since 2006,
she skates for SVRG, does their public relations, and supplies newspapers and magazines with
articles about roller derby.

Phil Peterson - Kansas City, Missouri
Phil Peterson, Kansas City. In early 2006, Phil got back into photography after seeing a Kansas City
Roller Warriors bout. Since then, he has been to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand
as a photojournalist and has shot nearly 100 derby bouts. His work has been seen in numerous publications

Sarah "Jewanna Brawl" Erlanger - Kauai,Hawaii
Sarah "Jewanna Brawl" Erlanger of the Wicked Wahine Derby Association has been consumed by roller
derby from the first moment the leather touched her sasquatch leggings. Taking guidance and influence
from friends who have shared their derby knowledge, she started her own derby shop. She is the owner
of Kauai Skate, the only derby owned and
operated skate shop in the state of Hawaii, and host of Leid on the Track.

Tiki TimeBomb, (a.k.a. Pamela Berg), is proud to skate with Vancouver's Terminal City Roller Girls.
Off the track she's a library assistant and columnist who enjoys snowshoeing, running, and macro
nature photography. "A rabid theme party enthusiast who suffers an inexplicable addiction to peanut
butter packages pillaged from restaurant tables. That would be me."

Ziv Kruger is an entertainment lawyer based in Austin, Texas, specializing in music matters. He's
the official photographer of the Texas Rollergirls, former coach of the Alamo City all-star team,
and visiting photographer in Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Fayetteville, Houston, Kansas City, Oklahoma
City, Madison, San Antonio, Seattle, Tucson, and Tyler. Ziv's photos have appeared in Texas Music
